Our first community meetup was successfully held at Sumner Community Hall on Saturday, 20th June 2026. Families and community members gathered for a warm afternoon of connection, conversation, and shared food — marking a wonderful start to our regular community events.
The event brought together Indian families from across Christchurch for an evening of networking, cultural exchange, and building new friendships. Attendees enjoyed a shared meal, engaged in meaningful conversations, and provided valuable input on future community activities. It was a heartwarming evening that truly reflected the spirit of community support.
